Urso is the only licensed first-line treatment for PBC, and it is absolutely vital that every single patient is on the right personalised dose. Normalisation of liver tests in PBC can lead to normal life expectancy for people living with PBC. The best way to ensure your blood tests are normalised is to be on the right Urso dose for you.  

If Urso lets you down and your blood tests do not normalise, there are other options, including other treatments and clinical trial opportunities. However, to qualify for any of these options, you need to be on the recommended dose of Urso for at least a year.
